Last night when we got home we realized we had no heat, so it was a little chilly when we woke up this morning. A heating guy came this morning and fixed the heater temporarily so the house would warm up to above 50 degrees. While the heater guy was here, Rebecca took the truck over to Pitman Manor
to start unpacking it with her parents. I met them there after the heater was fixed. Unpacking the truck wasn’t nearly as complicated as packing it, which was nice and unexpected at the same time. After that we went to Clancy’s Pub in Pitman, NJ for lunch. Our drink orders were all screwed up and my cheesesteak had onions on it, but it was nice to sit down and share a meal with the family. And Rebecca’s mom was able to sneak home some fries and potato chips. Please, no one tell Clancy.
Well, that about wraps up our trip to Florida and back. Now I’m tired. I’m going to lay on the couch and watch 17 hrs of Superbowl coverage.
Next post – we’ll see what’s on my mind, but I brought back this awesome booze catalog from 1972 that is hilarious. Just wait until you see the pictures in this thing…
